For Degree Program Students ONLY

How to apply for the permanent student ID?

  • 1. Go to the Document Registering Office (Okmányiroda), where your photo is taken and you have to sign the application form. You have to identify yourself so do not forget to take
    • ID, passport or driving license or
    • birth certificate (anyakönyvi kivonat) and address card (lakcímkártya) with you.

You can go to any Document Registering Office. There is one near the University in district 5: Budapest, Erzsébet tér 2-3. 1051.

You will receive a NEK-code from the office which you will have to use in Neptun when you fill in the application.

  • 2. Apply for the student ID through Neptun. Go to Administrationstudent card request          - Add new – number: NEK-code from the Document Registering Office – demand type:  első igénylés.

You will receive your student ID by post to your home address in Hungary (be sure it is entered into Neptun).

When you have received your permanent student ID card, you must validate it by picking up the sticker for the given semester at the ISP office. The permanent student ID cards must be validated by March 31st and October 31st each year. THE PERMANENT STUDENT ID IS NOT VALID WITHOUT THE SEMESTER STICKER.

For Non-degree students+ degree students who have not yet received the permanent student ID card

Non-degree students receive the temporary student ID paper for their time at Corvinus. You must renew it at the ISP office as it is only valid for 60 days.

Degree students who have applied for the permanent student ID card can receive a temporary student ID at the ISP office after you have done steps 1 & 2 above. You must renew it at the ISP office as it is only valid for 60 days.
