Admissions Process: Stage 1

Required Application Materials

Hungarian citizen applicants must apply through the central national admission center Országos Felsőoktatási Információs Központ (OFIK) and must apply as indicated in the hard copy application guide (Felsőoktatási felvételi tájékoztató) or on the official website of the admission center (www.felvi.hu).

Foreign citizen applicants must apply according to the below requirements. The admission process occurs in two stages: application and interview. If your application is accepted, you will be contacted to take the entry exams.

Please include the following in your application:

  1. Completed & signed application form
  2. Proof of completion (at least 180 ECTS credits) of previous bachelor and/or master studies in a related field*
    • If you are currently studying, then provide an official statement of expected graduation.
    • If your degree comes from a Non-EEA country, your diploma will need an apostille or diplomatic legalization***
  3. Official transcript of grades from your related degree
  4. Completed Petition for the Acceptance of a Degree form
  5. Completed Request for Credit Acceptance form and a Course Form for MSc in Marketing if your degree cannot be accepted automatically (see below: "Which degrees are accepted?")
  6. Proof of English language proficiency
  7. Copy of the photo-page of your passport or EU identification card
  8. Professsional curriculum vitae/resumé in English (Europass or similar)
  9. Passport-sized photo (not older than 6 months)
  10. Proof of payment of the 100 EUR application fee (non-refundable) - this should be paid by bank transfer
  11. GMAT score - if available (not obligatory, but highly welcome)

If your official documents are not in either English or Hungarian, an official notarized translation of the documents is required.

For degrees issued in Non-EEA countries

***The official Letter of Acceptance will be issued only after you have submitted the apostilled (or diplomatically legalized) version of your degree.  For this reason, we suggest that you make arrangements for the apostille/diplomatic legalization as soon as you have been awarded the degree as it may take time to get the apostille/diplomatic legalization.

For detailed information on apostilles, please check here.

If the country where your diploma originated is not a member of the Apostille Convention, your diploma must be diplomatically legalized by the foreign ministry of the country in which the document originated, and then by the Hungarian Consulate of your home country.
